La Voix humaine
Mireille Delunsch, soprano
Antoine Palloc, piano
Accompanied on piano by Antoine Palloc, Mireille Delunsch will interpret La Voix humaine, opera of Francis Poulenc based on a piece by Jean Cocteau: in this exciting theatrical monologue, a woman speaks on the phone with her former lover for the last time. Feeling betrayed and abandoned, she remembers the past, the happy days, she lies, she gets angry, she fears. The great Mireille Delunsch is also an accomplished actress and she performs genially this memorable piece.
An extraordinary singer, she has been omnipresent on the operatic stage for almost 20 years, performing numerous roles and commanding an eclectic repertoire ranging from the baroque music to the 20th century music, passing by romantic era.
In the first part of the concert, Mireille Delunsch will perform Fiançailles pour rire (1939), Francis Poulenc’s song cycle based on the poems by Louise de Vilmorin.
This third concert from the series Les Anges français organised in cooperation with the Centre culturel français de Belgrade has received support from the Crédit Agricole Serbie.
