Maja Rajković

Maja Rajković was born in Belgrade. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad,
where she studied with Konstantin Bogino. She attended advanced studies at the ”Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale” in Portogruaro (ltaly) in the same class. She received her Master of Arts degree at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, the class of Dušan Trbojević. She is employed at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade.
Between 1998-2009 she has been the president of the Jeunesses Musicales of Belgrade, and in 2001 she became the vice president of MCNM (Mediterranean Collaboration of New Musicians). She won third prize at Carlo Soliva International Competition in Italy. She was a prize winner at the Rachmaninov ’93 Concours in Belgrade. In 1994 she won the Audience First prize and official Third prize at the 24th Jeunesses Musicales Competition in Belgrade.
She has performed with the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, RTS Symphony Orchestra, the St. George Strings, the Belgrade strings, at the Belgrade Music Festival (Bemus), Split Summer Festival (Croatia), Herceg Fest (Montenegro), Festival Internazionale di Musica da Camera –Portogruaro (Italy), International Women’s Musical Meeting in Athens (Greece), Music Biennial in Zagreb (Croatia). She has given concerts in Italy, England, Greece, Luxembourg, etc.
