BOYKI BROTHERS
Gospel a cappella vocal quartet
The Bolyki Brothers quartet is made up of four brothers, each a professional musician. As members of the Budapest Festival Orchestra, and the Erkel Ferenc Chamber Orchestra they’ve toured the world from Far East to Wild West. As a singing group they performed first in 1988 at a festival in Germany, as Bolyk’ Boys Band. During the following years they gave more than a hundred gospel concerts all over Germany, and contributed to two CD albums. Later they’ve simplified their names (to favor the critics and fans) and became Bolyki Brothers. They also performed at music festivals, a capella, and at church music events all over Europe. In 2000 they were invited to the Montreaux jazz festival, and also made recordings for a California TV company. In 2003 on the request of Daywind Music Publishing the Bolyki brothers contributed to a CD among other musicians like Johnny Cash, The Chathedrals, The Christ Tabernacle Choir and Ann McCreary. They have continuous coverage by the Hungarian media and are welcomed guests of large festivals. They sing unplugged at concerts, and amaze their audience with their humor and strong evangelical message.
